National Monuments Tour with the Across Cultures Club

This past weekend my co-worker Sara and I took the Across Cultures Club on a National Monuments Tour. We went to Fort Laramie, Wyoming; Sara's parents ranch in Hulette, WY; Devils Tower; Mount Rushmore, South Dakota; and Jewel Cave, SD. We left Friday, June 2 and got back on Sunday, June 4. It was a busy weekend, but a lot of fun. There were students and their families from Saudi Arabia, Monogolia, Germany, and Japan. We also had Tende and his nephew, the club co-advisor Keri and her boyfriend.

Here I am crossing the foot bridge at Sara's grandpa's house. It was scary, the bridge starts to tip in the middle. Thankfully, I didn't end up in the river.
Well, I not the only kitten fan around. Gallop, from Saudi Arabia also likes kitties. He is 3 years old and has the prettiest eyes. There were about 7 kittens on the porch when we got to Sara's parents. That night there was one more kitten born.
Here is Tucker, the horse, Sara's mom Mary, Gallop, Me, Maria and little Sara. The kids were so in love with the horse. I had such a good time with them. They were so polite and cute!
